Michele O-Mara

Michele O-Mara is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Indiana. She earned a Masters of Social Work degree from Indiana University and has been a practicing therapist since graduating in 1992. Michele has various credentials which enhance her education and qualifications for counseling. These include: ACRPS (Accredited Relapse Prevention Specialist); ABS (Academy of Bereavement Professionals), ACSW (Accredited Clinical Social Worker). In addition to this, Michele is also a member of the Harry Benjamin Association for gender issues. Since 1994 Michele has focused primarily on the needs of oppressed, diverse, and highly-stigmatized populations, such as gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered persons.
